Mustang GT350 Engine

Mustang GT350s Engine is one very powerful engine with its just like the Mustang GT350Rs engine. see for explanation of this engine too.

The sixth generation Ford Mustang is the current iteration of the Mustang pony car manufactured by Ford. In departure from prior Mustang models, the sixth generation Mustang includes fully independent rear suspension on all models, as well as an optional 2.3L EcoBoost turbocharged and direct injected four cylinder engine. The new Mustang was introduced as a 2015 model year vehicle, marking the fiftieth anniversary of the Ford Mustang, which was revealed as a 1965 model year vehicle on April 17, 1964

Shelby GT Engine

Sometime this year, odds are good Ford will pull the sheet off a new Shelby GT500 packing Hellcat-rivalling levels of horsepower. But if you really can’t wait that long for a 700-plus horsepower Mustang with Carroll Shelby’s surname slapped on it, there’s always the new 2017 Shelby Mustang Super Snake.

In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Super Snake nameplate, Shelby American has prepared a special Mustang to wear the badass badge. Based on the 5.0-liter Mustang GT, the Super Snake offers buyers a choice of two separate superchargers on tap; the smaller one dials the Coyote V-8 up to 670 horsepower, while a larger one blasts this pony car up to the full 750 ponies. Either way, the engine can be hooked up to either a manual or automatic gearbox. Shelby American claims that a 2017 Super Snake with the bigger supercharger and the slushbox can run from 0-60 miles per hour in 3.5 seconds and do the quarter-mile in 10.9, as well as stick 1.2 g's on the skidpad—numbers that put it roughly in line with the Chevy Camaro ZL1.

The new Shelby Mustang isn't just about speed, though. The Super Snake comes outfitted with plenty of special styling cues, including a unique hood, a special spoiler and splitters, a custom grille, and plenty of other exterior accoutrements; inside, special sill plates and gauges set the car apart from stock 'Stangs,  while a dash plaque shows off the car's official serial number.. You can even pay extra to have  that side stripe removed, should it offend your sensibilities.

The 2017 Mustang Super Snake package starts at $36,795, not including the new Mustang that's kind of a prerequisite for the build; bring a basic Mustang GT, however, and it's possible to roll out the door with a Super Snake for around 70 Grand but its worth 100% for a car like this now somethings about this car are overpriced but if you have the money why not.

Mustang Fastback

The Ford Mustang has been Ford's pony car since it was released in 1964. The Fastback model was the coupe version of the car sold from 1965-68 before the second facelift, when it was renamed "Sportsroof." The Ford Mustang Fastback featured in MM2 is a 1968 Fastback, built after the first facelift and famed for its appearance in the movie Bullitt. The second "generation" of Mustang was introduced in 1974, with the new mindset that speed wasn't everything. As a result, sales plummeted, until the release of the third Mustang in 1978. Although its early facelifts are often considered to be the ugliest Mustang ever, it managed to keep in profit until its discontinuation in 1993. 1994 saw the arrival of the fourth-gen Mustang, on which the Ford Mustang GT and Ford Mustang Cruiser are based. The GT model was the performance model of the era, while the Cruiser was the modified police version.

This is the most economic version of this car mostly because it has a small engine this is a very safe car until  In May 2015, Ford issued a recall involving 19,486 of the 2015 Ford Mustang with the 2.3 L EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder engine with a production date between February 14, 2014, and February 10, 2015, that were built at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant. As of June 2015, 1 million Mustangs (between 2005 and 2011) and GTs (between 2005 and 2006) were affected by a recall of airbags made by Takata Corporation. This was after Takata announced that it was recalling 33.8 million vehicles in the U.S. for airbags that could explode and send metal pieces flying at drivers and passengers. This was never fords fault but ford has to take the hits for it. But until this recall happened ford had a 5 star crash safety test which made it a very safe car to own.

Mustang GT350 R Engine

This Beast of a engine is the Mustang GT350 Rs engine and there is not much different from the Mustang GT350s engine they are actually pretty much 100% identical.

Between the 2 Muscle cars Mustang GT and GT350 there's a noticeable difference you can see a video here( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GbbNlkP-ZSM&t=8s ). Moving on to just the sound of the engine, even though you see and hear it in the youtube video that i have attached it's almost impossible not to talk about it. its one of those things that are just perfect See the source image  you honestly you can't go wrong with something that sound that good who wouldn't want a car like this? This is a incredible car and i would like to push you to go look into it even if you cant afford it. its a remarkable car and i would suggest getting it when the next one comes out if you have the funds for it if not go for a mustang either way.

Mustang GT Engine

The Mustang GT is a iconic car for many years its dominated the streets. The 2018 model year Mustang was released in the third quarter of 2017 in North America and by 2018 globally. It featured a minor redesign to the exterior. The 2018 Mustang engine lineup was revised. The 3.7L V6 was dropped and the 2.3L 4 cyl. Ecoboost (direct-injection turbocharged) engine now serves as the base power plant for the Mustang, producing 310 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque when using 93-octane fuel. The 5.0L V8 gets a power increase to 460HP and 420 lb.-ft. of torque. The automatic transmission in both engines is now a ten-speed that was co-developed by Ford and General Motors.

This engine is traditionally a Cross-Plane crank which is the way the crankshaft is so don't get hung up on the word cross-Plane like i said its just how the crankshaft is and you will never see it unless your trying to take apart your engine.

Mustang GT 2018

The sixth generation Mustang was unveiled on December 5, 2013, in Dearborn, Michigan; New York, New York; Los Angeles, California; Barcelona, Spain; Shanghai, China; and Sydney, Australia. The internal project codename is S-550.

Changes include widened body by 1.5 inches, 1.4 inches lower body, trapezoidal grille, and a 2.75-inch lower deck lid, as well as new colors. The passenger volume is increased to 84.5 cubic feet, wheelbase is still 8 ft. 11.1 in. (107.1 in.), and three engine options are available: a newly developed 2.3 L EcoBoost 310 hp four-cylinder introduced to reach high tariff global markets like China, 3.7 L 300 hp V6, or 5.0 L Coyote 435 hp V8, with either a Getrag six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

A new independent rear suspension (IRS) system was developed specifically for the new model which was need so bad due to the amount of crashes people in a mustang would get in because they would peal out of a parking lot (see video--->)( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cVyBaX6sCd4 ) and 90% of the crashes that happen happen because one side of the axle spins and the other doesn't so the computer tries to fix it leading to a crash.

In February 2015, the Mustang earned a 5-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) for front, side, and rollover crash protection.[70]

The 2018 model year Mustang was released in the third quarter of 2017 in North America and by 2018 globally. It featured a minor redesign to the exterior. The 2018 Mustang engine line up was revised. The automatic transmission in both engines is now a ten-speed that was co-developed by Ford and General Motors. In January 2018, Ford displayed a prototype of the special edition 2018 Bullitt model, to be released in the summer; this vehicle commemorated the 50th anniversary of the movie Bullitt that helped attract interest in the marque.

Mustang GT350

Revealed in 2013 as an upgrade kit for the Mustang GT, the Shelby GT350 (S197 II) was built in limited numbers and was offered in both coupe and convertible versions. For the 2013 model year, the GT350 received new color options, visual styling cues, and optional performance enhancements. The 2013 Shelby GT350 is powered by a 5.0 liter V8 engine offered in either a 430 hp (320 kW) naturally aspirated version with an optional upgrade to increase the power output to 450 hp (340 kW), or a 525 hp (391 kW) or 624 hp (465 kW) supercharged versions. The engine could be combined with a manual gearbox with a short throw shifter as standard, or an automatic transmission for the naturally aspirated engine as an option.

The 2011 Ford Mustang GT from Shelby was previously only offered in a white exterior color with Guardsman Blue Le Mans racing stripes running the length of the vehicle, and the 2012 model saw the addition of two new colors; Race Red with white LeMans stripes and Kona Blue with white LeMans stripes. "The 2013 model year added even more color options in the form of Grabber Blue, Sterling Gray Metallic, "Gotta Have It" Green, Candy Red Tintcoat Metallic, Ingot Silver Metallic, "Deep Impact" Blue Metallic (replaces Kona Blue Metallic), Race Red, Performance White, and Black. These new colors could be combined with Satin Black or Gloss White stripes and a new set of wheels in Satin Black or Bright Silver Metallic. Other styling cues for 2013 included a glass roof option, Recaro Seats, and a modified custom rear valance."(FORD)

Changes for the 2013 model year also included a one piece drive shaft, more powerful brakes, cooling enhancements, and a color coordinated billet aluminum engine cap set.

Prototype Demonstrator
It was a prototype of GT350 used as a track demonstrator vehicle; which ended up not being used that much as anticipated. It featured a 624 hp (465 kW) supercharged V8 engine, premium interior with Recaro seats, gauges, and 6 piston Wilwood brakes in the front and 4 piston calipers in the rear. It was featured in the 2013 sales literature and is one of the Heritage Center show cars.

Mustang GT350. For 2016, the GT350 has a 5,163 cc (5.2 L; 315.1 cu in) flat-plane crank V8 engine, known as Voodoo producing 526 bhp (533 PS; 392 kW) @ 7,500 rpm and 429 lb⋅ft (582 N⋅m) @ 4,750 rpm of torque. The GT350 is more track focused than the GT500, and was benchmarked against the Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Porsche 911 GT3 and BMW M4. Notable features are track-focused chassis tuning, significant aerodynamic changes to include lowering the hood around the engine, two piece Brembo brakes, MagneRide damping option, lightweight Tremec six speed manual transmission, Recaro seats and various weight reduction efforts. Specifically, it has a carbon fiber reinforced polymer radiator support that directs cooling channels for various components.

Shelby GT

The SHELBY GT 500 is a step up from the base GT but is 100% worth the extra 5000 dollars this car look nice feels nice and drivers amazing.

Shelby American launched the new Shelby Super Snake in 2015. Due to the discontinuation of Shelby GT500, the 2015 Super Snake lost its GT500 tag, but still have some people called it as GT500 Super Snake. Like the 2015 Shelby GT, it is also based on 2015 Ford Mustang GT. The 2015 Super Snake has a 5.0L V8 equipped with a Shelby/Ford Racing supercharger engine rated at 650+hp (750+hp via Shelby/Whipple Supercharger). According to Shelby, the test car produces 850 hp (630 kW). But the car's 12.3-second, 116 mph (187 km/h) quarter-mile run speaks to a horsepower number far less than 750, let alone 850. A stock Camaro ZL1 is slower. Tuner cars such as this one lack SAE-certified horsepower and torque ratings.

In front is a carbon-fiber Super Snake hood, adorned with a forced-air scoop that rises above the central grille. The grille is also new, with a black anodized material used both in the upper and lower portions of the front intake.

Aerodynamically, Shelby added a carbon-fiber front diffuser, which is complemented in the rear by a larger carbon-fiber spoiler. Below the wing there’s more carbon fiber used in the new rear diffuser, taillight panel, and rocker panels with side-skirt aero blades just in front of the rear wheels. The composite is also in place for the mirror covers. Finally, there’s the requisite Super Snake racing stripes and external badging.

The Super Snake includes special CSM badging, Shelby floor mats, sill plates, a dash-mounted gauge pod made from carbon fiber and stuffed with AutoMeter gauges, Ford Performance short-throw shifter, an upholstery upgrade, racing seats, five-point racing harnesses, Shelby valve covers, and a carbon-fiber latch cover.

Routing the power are 3.73 gears and new half shafts, both from Ford Performance. The tires are Michelin Pilot Super Sport wrapped around staggered 20-inch WELD Racing Super Snake wheels. Also, for the first time, the Super Snake will be available with either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. Under hood options include an upgraded intercooler and cooling kits for the differential and transmission.

Shelby American has for the first time provided right-hand drive version Super Snakes to the UK and Europe through official distributor Bill Shepherd Mustang, and also to Australia, introduced by Mustang Motorsport.

Mustang GT350 R

Mustang GT350 R there is one distinct difference form the Mustang 350 to the Mustang 350 R and that's the fact that the R stands for race ready.

At the 2015 North American International Auto Show a more refined, hardcore and limited production version of the GT350 was unveiled called the GT350R, it still has the GT350's 5.2-liter flat plane crank V8 engine, producing the same power output as the GT350, but items like the air conditioning, stereo, trunk floorboard, all the carpeting, the rear seats, and the backup camera have been removed. The GT350R is also equipped with carbon-fiber wheels that each weigh approximately 15 pounds less than the aluminum wheels on the GT350. Overall, the GT350R is 130 lb (59 kg) lighter than the GT350. A larger splitter and rear wing help improve downforce, with the wing drawing the car's weight balance more rearwards. A Torsen limited-slip differential with a 3:73 axle ratio helps improve handling further. Serial #001 was sold at the 2015 Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale Auction for US$1,000,000 with the proceeds to benefit the JDRF.
Ford offered a back-seat option for the GT350R a while after it entered production. The GT350R is one of the 10 best 2016 cars picked up by the Car and Driver magazine.

GT350R-C
As with previous production-based Mustang race cars, Multimatic Engineering was engaged by Ford Performance to develop a complete race-only version of the S550 Shelby GT350R. The resulting competition derivative, the GT350R-C, features safety equipment and roll-over protection homologated to FIA and IMSA specifications; Bosch MS5.0 ECU and ABS controller; MoTeC instrumentation and datalogging; adjustable anti-roll bars; Multimatic DSSV spool-valve dampers and other competition upgrades.

Though delayed until the third race of the 2015 Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, the GT350R-C was competitive right away: having earned pole position for its debut race, the GT350R-C won the next two rounds, and took three wins overall in its debut season. Success continued into 2016, as privateer team C360R finished behind the sole entry of factory-supported team Multimatic Motorsports for a 1–2 GT350R-C finish.
